On an ideal weekend, you can find me:
"Watching York City with my friends and then heading down to the pub for a drink or two after to celebrate. Unfortunately, that doesn’t happen too often!"
-
My favourite holiday is:
"When I went to Florida three years running with all of the family."
-
My favourite song to play in the car is:
"Something daft like ‘Sweet Caroline’ so I can wind the windows down and blast it at full pelt. In fairness, it has been a while since me and my sister have done that you’ll be pleased to know!"
-
The first album I bought was:
"Being a millennial, I have actually never bought an album. But I was surrounded by a lot of ELO, Phil Collins and other 80s classics whilst growing up (thanks to my parents), so I would have to say those as the next best thing. Definitely the best era of music by far."
-
If I could be any fictional character, I would be:
"This one is the hardest as I am quite happy being me, but if I had to say, Buzz Lightyear."
-
If I could turn any activity into an Olympic sport, I would win a medal in:
"Opening a pack of biscuits and finishing them in one sitting. Fox’s Golden Crunch Creams simply do not touch the sides."
-
When the dessert menu arrives, I’m looking for:
"Something basic but effective, like chocolate fudge cake with ice cream."
-
The three qualities that draw me to new people are:
"They need to be friendly so that I feel like I can open up to them, as well as being someone who can understand my humour and nonsense. And also funny themselves, because who isn’t drawn to someone who can make them laugh?"
-
My pet peeve is:
"Totally random, but seeing as I’m answering this not long after cycling into work, when people don’t indicate at a roundabout or junction."
-
The best gift I’ve ever received is:
"It would have to be my first bike or go-kart as a kid. I’d spend hours on end racing around the cul-de-sac on either."
-
The three people at my dream dinner party would be:
"I’d have to say Karl Pilkington, Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant. I could listen to those three go on for hours. I still don’t quite know whether to feel complimented or insulted when I get referred to as being a younger version of Karl Pilkington, but one thing I do know, I definitely smile and laugh a lot more than he does."
-
The three small things that make my day better are:
"Being surrounded by like-minded people who are on the same wavelength as you, then getting home and having a nice warm bath before finally climbing into a comfortable bed after a productive day’s work and studying. Andy, don’t you be laughing."
