Meet John Whiting

At work

John spent 42 years working in banking, climbing up the ladder to become a Bank Manager. Following that, he diversified to become a Regulated Sales Manager. And in 2017, John joined PenLife. Today, as our Adviser Development Manager, John supervises the advisers, meeting with them on a regular basis and completing observations.

At home

John’s main interests are music, reading and sport (football and rugby league), but these days more as a spectator than a participant. In his spare time, he likes to spend time with friends, as well as visiting his three grown-up children who all live in different parts of the country. His time is now also taken up making sure Darcy (his golden retriever) is behaving herself, as it is like having a toddler in the house.
