Work
John joined PenLife in 2017 after 42 years with Lloyds Bank, where he became a Bank Manager. He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to his role as Adviser Development Manager.
John works closely with our Financial Planners, providing guidance, support and constructive feedback to help them continue to develop their skills. Through regular one-to-one meetings and observations of client meetings, he helps our Financial Planners refine their approach and deliver the high standards of service clients expect from PenLife. His role focuses on supporting good outcomes for clients by helping ensure advice is delivered consistently and in line with PenLife’s standards.
Rest and play
The main focus at home for John at present is his Golden Retriever, Darcy.
Initially not wanting a dog, John finally gave way to his wife’s puppy dog eyes and caved in. It’s now fair to say that John talks about little else but Darcy!
When not following Darcy around, John loves his sport, particularly Rugby League and football.
John is also into music and reading.
