Tom has been with PenLife since 2009, having worked in pensions since 2002, & over that time has amassed a wealth of knowledge. As a Chartered Financial Planner, Tom has helped hundreds of clients in all areas of advice. He specialises in Inheritance Tax & retirement planning, & is qualified to deal with Defined Benefit pensions.
Tom is well-versed in dealing with complicated tax & pension planning. He’s able to lay this out for clients in such a way that they gain valuable understanding and the confidence to move forward on the most suitable path.
Tom’s proudest moments as a Chartered Financial Planner are when he’s able to help people who are going through difficult times. He can offer real compassion and reassurance, & hopefully contribute more than just financial advice to get them through.
Rest and play
Tom lives in York with his wife Elena & daughter Isabella. His son Alessandro has abandoned the family to study at uni in London!
Tom loves spending time with family, preferably outdoors or in front of a BBQ. He loves reading when he gets the chance, having always been interested in history & even studying it at uni.
Tom also enjoys doing DIY on the house & in the garden. He loves the sea & getting the opportunity to go surfing, especially on the beach in Spain where his wife is from. It’s warmer there!
