Some days bring fresh challenges, but I really enjoy tackling challenges and trying to make things better. Being part of something that is continually striving for the best. This fits with my personal values and I couldn't work somewhere that just stood still."
Work
Bernadette has been in financial services since 1993 ever since leaving school. She has a Diploma in Financial Planning, but her true passion lies in the business side of operations.
Bernadette’s day-to-day role varies all the time, but she’s a self-confessed data geek, so she likes to make sure we have all the information needed to make sound business decisions.
Bernadette rarely interacts with clients, although she genuinely loves people, so it’s something she’d like to do more of!
Rest and play
Bernadette lives with her husband Simon and their two cats, Jake and Elwood (a.k.a. Jakie and Woobies). The couple love spending time with their friends and particularly enjoy having people over for food and a few drinks.
In their truly spare time – when they aren’t working, doing chores, or entertaining – you may find Bernadette and Simon planning a bit of DIY or home improvement. And after all that, they like to chill out with a good box set!
