Work
Niall brings a broad and well rounded background in insurance and financial protection, alongside a strong commitment to client focused advice. He began his career in 2016 at NFU Mutual as a Claims Handler working within the equine and pet claims team where he gained early exposure to the technical and emotional realities clients face when making a claim. Following this, he became a Mortgage and Protection Adviser, further broadening his client facing experience.
Niall helps individuals with specific protection needs, IHT planning, protecting liability or protecting their family. He also works with businesses to make sure they have the relevant cover to mitigate any interruption to their business should they experience the loss of a share holder or key person. He particularly enjoys the underwriting and problem‑solving elements of complex protection cases.
Rest and play
Outside of work, Niall enjoys spending time with his family, including his young son Finley and dog Penny.
He also enjoys all things horse racing. His dad used to be a jockey as did his sister, who now trains from the family yard at Sheriff Hutton.
